Stockland’s Shopping Centre, Rockhampton Back To Projects
Client Name: Xenia Constructions
Completion Date: July 2021
Project Details
Great way to finish off the 2021 financial year undertaking the first of two night-time crane lifts on our very first project in Rockhampton at Stockland’s Shopping Centre, for our client XENIA Constructions.
Services Provided
The works involve the upgrading of the HVAC system by reconfiguring the existing chilled water installation and adding additional rooftop AC plant and ductwork to cater for tenants’ requirements.
In addition, a new BMS system was installed to suit the new configuration of mini major stores that are serviced by the upgraded ductwork/AHU systems.
To facilitate the roof top installation the following site logistics and commitments had to be developed and agreed: –
- Crane lift plans
- High-risk SWMS
- Lift schedule
- On-time duct fabrication and transport from Bravo Manufacturing out of Brisbane
- Site crews on deck ready to undertake the all-night lift exercise to ensure that the crane lift was successfully completed without any setbacks.
Many thanks to our client XENIA Constructions and our dedicated site crew – Kinson Mechanical Services – who all worked throughout the night in a safe, diligent, and very professional manner to make sure that the work was delivered before the shopping centre opened for trading the next day.
